The Surgical Services Nursing Educator will join the Surgical Services leadership team and report to the Administrative Director of Perioperative Services. The Surgical Services Nursing Educator will collaborate at all levels of nursing to provide professional development, act as a mentor and provide clinical coaching.  The Surgical Services Nursing Educator will develop programs that are in compliance with hospital Policies and Procedures and that enhance clinical excellence within the unit.  The Surgical Services Nursing Educator will provide orientation for new staff and support the unit staff with academic development, counseling and evaluations.
